Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the ProQR mobile application. By installing or using ProQR you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
ProQR is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use it on any device you control. You may not resell it, redistribute modified copies of it, or attempt to decompile or reverse engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
Your content
You keep every right in the codes you make and in what they contain. Because ProQR works entirely on your device, we never receive, store or claim any interest in them.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for what your codes point to and for complying with the law where you are. Do not use ProQR to make codes that lead to unlawful content, that impersonate someone, or that are designed to mislead the people who scan them.
No warranty
ProQR is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Whether a printed code scans depends on its size, contrast and the clear margin around it, and on the phone reading it. Test a downloaded code before printing a batch, and keep whatever it points to online.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a code that does not scan, for the content at a destination, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of ProQR. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
No paid features
There are no in-app purchases: every tool described on this site is free. If a purchase is ever offered in future, it will be made through Google Play under Google’s terms, and the free tools will stay free.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue ProQR or any of its tools at any time.
